This is the current (as of 6/10/26) planned roadmap for OASIS II. Anything here is subject to change at any point. The best way to support this project is by spreading the word, buying my previous games and spreading the word about those too!

0.2 (Current) - End of Summer 2026

  • Steam multiplayer/lobby implementation
  • Warehouses map type (done)
  • Pump-action shotgun (done)
  • AR-based platform (M4A1 + semi-auto variant) (done)
  • “Actual” equipment for characters (done)
  • Retrieval objective type (done)
  • Bounty objective type
  • Gadget weapon attachment type (done)
  • Initial skill trees for stats system
  • Profile/save creation options (hardcore, sandbox, etc)
  • Second region (+ related traders)

0.3 - End of Winter 2026

  • Alert system (name tbd, reworked version of the alert system found in endgame/oasis hunt of Tokyo implemented into the main game)
  • Setup for potential localization (will probably start a crowdin project or something with this, don’t have the money to pay for localization unfortunately lol)
  • New map type (tbd)
  • New weapons (currently planned: double barrel, ak platform, pm9)
  • Destruction objective type
  • Upload/Defense objective type
  • Third region (+ related traders)
  • Upgradeable stash rows (via a trader)
  • Passive v-mon gain (mining)
  • Multi-mode gadget attachment type (dbal reimplementation)
  • ???
  • Potentionally a public playtest in some form (unsure)

0.4 - ??? 2027

  • Hacking system
    • Will be completely different than Tokyo’s hacking mechanics, have a new idea for it. It’ll be more focused on manipulating stuff in the levels themselves rather than the enemies. Further details will be described in a future dev blog
  • Stocks system
    • Simple stock trading sim, will be an additional way of getting v-mon. Will also be manipulatable via the hacking system, corp area missions, and quests
  • ???
  • Potential early access launch (still undecided)

Features for full release - ???

  • Six total regions
  • Main storyline with three endings
  • By this point, everything relevant from Tokyo should be reimplemented (weapons, objectives, etc)
  • ???
